Rules
1. Please No INBREEDING. Inbreeding is within the first three generations, ei Horse, Sire, Grandsire. Four generations and further is considered linebreeding
2. Foals Must be 4 years younger than it's sire, and 5 years younger than it's dam. (I decided to again change FC/YO; any foal already 'born' will be exempted)
Stallions: may have an unlimited number of foals.
Mares: Each has a list of their produce, and open years. You may choose to use either a year that isn't taken or one that is. This excludes older Breeding Stock Only mares [one foal per year, twins possible] and registries that doesn't allow ET
3. Please don't use my horses or photos without my permission.
Fees
1. All E-mail breedings are free. I prefer to use Rich Text Format for my pedigrees, but please let me know the best program (e.i: .txt, .rtf, .bmp, etc.) to send you the pedigree on.
2. Please e-mail for snail mail breeding request information, and fees.

Information
1. If a horse's name is underlined that means it is a Fantisy Farm horse.
2. Matching a foal's color to one of it's parents is not always the case. If you're having trouble with a foal's color, please ask. Also I use technical terms ie Black Dun instead of Grullo/Grulla, please let me know which do you prefer. 3. For the most part I do try and use the breed naming rules/guides, they will be listed under the breed but are there for reference for those who want to use them. I do prefer it with my Warmbloods mainly Trakehners. Some of my horses require part of their name be used in the foal's name, this will be noted under additional information. Also if you'd like to use a prefix/suffix for your foal(s) out of my broodmare(s), please use either Fantisy or FF unless otherwise stated. 4. I will also list any special breed requirements or needful information. 5. My horses are AGING 6. Please note some of the Model horses list are NOT owned by me. Their respective owner is in the horse's information. These horses are on 'lease' to me, and are in the care of Fantisy Farm. I have all breeding rights to them. |
7. ET after a horse's age mean they're produced vis Embryo Transfer and have a Surrogate dam.
8. Fantisy Farm Welcomes: *Import Foals - If you would like to use my parents for your imported foal *Non- Breyer, Peter Stone, Resin foals – I’ll accept any make including unknown *BSO Foals *Aging or Non-aging foals *Partbreds - My horses may be crossbred outside their breed with few limitations. I will allow a Shetland Stallion to breed to a draft mare however not reversed. I will also not allow identical names in the same breed ei I've breed an American Appaloosa stallion named Quantum Rush for Trish Yanko I will not breed another Appy with this name or Name's of famous horses ei Smarty Jones (r) or any variations Smart Tee Jones but will allow something like Smarty Jones' Boy |
Color Guide
Chestnut base to Chestnut base, no matter the shade, will always produce a chestnut based foal.
Chestnut can "hide" both Silver, Pearl and Agouti.
Gray, Champagne, Dun, Classic Roan, and Rabicano Roan have one parent with this modifier/Dilute
Single cream like Palomino require one cream parent (either single or double), double cream like Cremello require both parents be cream diluted.
Silver must have one parent that is silver or carries silver.
Single copy of pearl does not effect the coat color, Pearl + cream produce pseudo double creams and can only pass one of the dilutes to their foals.
Mushroom is currently only found in British Shetland pony. It resembles silver and works like pearl. Single copy of Mushroom does not effect the coat color
All pinto patterns must have at least one parent with that pattern. Loud splash whites are normal homozygous or carries two different strains of splash gene (SW1, SW2, SW3, etc). Please also note breeding certain "overo" patterns together can be lethal.
Single Leopard Complex like Blanket and Leopard require one parent to have the leopard complex, double Leopard Complex like Snowcap and Few spotted require both parents to have the leopard complex, At least one parent must carries the PATN1 gene for Leopard/Semi Leopard. The lack of a pattern (strictly varnish roan/Lp) cannot produce pattern foals
Any horse that is homozygous must have both parent carry the gene and will always pass at lease one copy down. ei breeding a black to a chestnut cannot produce a foal homozygous for black but breeding two bay can (may also be homozygous for agouti) . I do have stock that is homozygous for colors and/or patterns. They will always pass on that color and/or pattern. A chestnut that is homozygous for Agouti (Bay) cannot produce a black foal even if the other parent is homozygous black. The foal would be bay 100% of the time from that cross.
Any horse that is true roan and sabino or true roan and tobiano or tobiano and sabino. Must pass one of the patterns down but not both. A foal can't be true roan, tobiano and sabino nor homozygous if they carries two of these patterns. EI: breeding a Black roan Tobiano to a black tobiano. The foal can be homozygous for black and tobiano but wouldn't be true roan or be homozygous for black only with both tobiano plus true roan
I do not recognize the "new dilute" in the Morgan horse. The amount of inbreeding used to get this color is staggering and not something I support.
